You would think that someone who travels for a living would have packing down to a science.
I don’t.
I can plan the itinerary, find the right hotel, uncover the experiences worth travelling for, and manage all the little details that make a trip come together. But ask me to fit
everything I need into a carry-on? That’s when I panic.
I’ve always struggled with packing light, so I decided it was time to call in an expert.
For this video blog, I visited my friend and stylist Claudia Mio from Go Wear You Want, who challenged me to rethink the way I pack by creating a capsule travel wardrobe.
By packing smaller collection of versatile pieces that can be mixed, matched and re-worn without feeling like you’re wearing the same outfit every day.

We go through what makes the cut, what doesn’t, and how a little planning can turn a surprisingly small number of pieces into a travel wardrobe that actually works.
Will this finally turn me into a carry-on-only traveler? We’ll see.
Challenge accepted!
